One of the first projects we saw from Star Wars in charge of EA was Battlefront. According to Tom Henderson, journalist and insider of the industry, Star Wars Battlefront III does exist, but EA has decided to rule out this project for two specific reasons. The first point out that the cost of the license has increased, and This delivery would have to sell 20% to generate the same amount of money as its predecessor. In the same way, it is mentioned that the departure of several developers who worked in the series was a determining factor in this decision.

On the other hand, it is also mentioned that EA is currently working on two other Star Wars projects, which would be focused on a single-player adventures with an emphasis on narrative. While Henderson does not mention it, one of these is surely the sequel of Jedi: Fallen Order. BATTLEFRONT III It could still be a reality in the future, but at the moment it seems that this is not a priority for FIFA developers.
